American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Atlanta peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Let me first start by quoting my mans when we came in, "This is the Sweet Spot. It's not an ice cream shop, it's a bakery." Despite living in the area for years, today was the first time we stopped by. Let me tell you I love this shop and I will definitely keep coming. They have cakes, cookies, brownies, etc. Different ice cream flavors and sorbet as well. They can make milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches. I was overwhelmed in a good way when I came in. One can definitely get fat coming through here lol! Definitely come and stop by. The atmosphere is great and the bakery is black owned! The owners were a great help and showed us everything for our fist time in. They have pies on Fridays as well! You can order whole cakes and pies as long as you order at least 3 days in advance!

Let me start off by saying, I crave ice cream 24/7 and for me to find this gem. Iโm in love! Not one negative thing to say at all. Me and my family visited here on the 26th of October. The staff (one whom was the ownerโs son) were extremely attentive upon walking through the door. They were polite and courteous of the fact I have two little ones who needed to taste try before buy. Them fresh bakeries were crack in the making. We sat and enjoyed our dessert and the gentleman and my hubs were deep in convo (grown man talk). For the service; five stars well deserved. Now due to my lactose I cannot personally review that, however I purchased a pint of the mango sorbet โ OMG delicious. We purchased every cookie on the menu these are not store bought tasting. Thereโs parking in front, I do believe that the young man stated that thereโs parking in the garage and they validate. Wish this was closer to my area but hey Iโll drive. Thank you guys again!

Stumbled across this black owned establishment, walking down the street. I ordered the tangerine and watermelon sorbet. The sorbet was refreshing . The tangerine sorbet tasted like tangerine and the watermelon tasted like a watermelon taffy candy that I used to enjoy as a kid. The prices are reasonable and portion size was decent for the price. This place is owned by a couple, the husband came over to the counter and personally greeted me. This place also has outdoor seating if you want to eat your treat outside. They have ice cream and other desserts. This spot is located in the heart of the quaint Glenwood park. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors.

Who doesnโt like a cookie, cake, pie or ice cream. I support this business. The owners are cool and the two male staff made me feel like we were kinfolk. Happy smiles like they are glad to be there to serve you, they explain the menu right away and they have good options and variations. Clean place in a great neighborhood. Parking on the street free. Unsure where I wouldโve parked if I hadnโt found a space on the street. The kitchen is visible and clean. Iโve seen this setup before and it works well. Everything made fresh-love it. One kiosk for ordering. I wonder how ordering is with a long line and people are indecisive like me lol. Fair prices, good size/value. They have Pie Friday that I got to come back for. Lemon Pound Cake-A1 true pound cake. You can tell a pro making it. Look at pic in cake glass! Other than butter pound & cheesecake, there werenโt other cakes. Oatmeal Cookie-fresh, soft, homemade- A hit. The sweetness is light (I wonder if they use a different sugar or less) wife and I loved it. chocolate caramel toffee- wasnโt on the kiosk but 4 were remaining. I got two. Unique taste, soft, fresh, light sugar taste again. Didnโt read like caramel or toffee. Oatmeal wa
